Kevin McHale has revealed he is relishing his presenting role on Virtually Famous.
The Glee actor, best known for playing Artie Abrams on the award-winning show, is the host of E4’s new comedy panel programme.
"I’ve hosted a couple of awards shows but this is different. We don’t really have anything like this back home," he said.
"It’s just so fun and I just get to sit with all the comedians. That was really appealing and the subject matter was really fun. So far I’m loving it."
The show, which features viral videos, sees comedian Seann Walsh and Radio 1’s Chris Stark as team captains, who are joined by celebrities.
The 26-year-old admitted he enjoys taking a backseat to the funnymen.
" I have never claimed to be a comedian. They know what they are doing and they are hilarious, it’s just my job to let it happen," he continued. "Chris and Seann, who are the team captains, are amazing and have been really supportive behind the scenes."
Kevin revealed how they have a lot of creative freedom on screen.
"They set up the show so it’s so comfortable and everyone can say whatever they want. There are no rules," he explained. "I’m the only one who has an outline of the show, but we have free rein. We’ve done some inappropriate things but you’ll just have to see."
:: Virtually Famous begins at 10pm on E4 tonight (July 21), before it airs on Channel 4 from July 25.
